The Transit of Venus Reflection

Last week, the Transit of Venus occurred.  It is when Venus passes between Earth and the Sun.  This massive astronomical event will not happen for another 105 years so it was a massive disapointment when the Sun was clouded over and we could not see it.

Reflection Week 7 Term 2

Over the last two weeks, our class has been put into groups and given the task of creating a powerpoint on a constellation of our choice.  My group is doing ours on pegasus.  Here is my reflection on our teamwork for this project.

What skills do you need to work effectively in a group?
I think you need to be able to talk and compromise when things dont quite seem fair.  You also need to do your side of the bargain and dont just leave it to the rest of your group.

How did you decide who did which tasks?  Was this a good method?
We all offered to do a task that no one else in the group was doing.  Majority of the time this would not be a very successful method but it worked out fine in this case.

What task were you responsible for?
I did the paint and helped with the powerpoint.

Anna was in my group and she did a really helpful job.  She used all her free time to work on our powerpoint when I was busy.  Nice job Anna!! XD
